The Observatory for Micro and Nanotechnologies (OMNT) is organizing an international symposium titled "On-Surface Chemistry: beyond self-assembly, Towards functional covalent networks" in Paris, on May 10th, 2016.

The aim of the symposium is to provide an overview in the area of molecular reactivity and self-assembly of molecules at surface. State of the art presentations will address the approaches currently developed on 2D supramolecular assembly and covalent networks as well as the perspectives of this emerging topic.

This international symposium is a unique opportunity to discuss research ideas  and exchange knowledge and practices. Cutting-edge presentations given by world-renown speakers will specifically address key aspects in these multidisciplimary research topics, ranging from synthesis (original reactivity, types of interaction ...) to advanced characterization methods (microscopy AFM, STM ...).

A poster session will allow particpants to expose their work (Deadline: 04/30/2016)
